EFQM Forum Programme 2011

Forum Programme Overview

25 & 26 October 2011

Keeping with our tradition of providing provocative speakers, we are delighted to announce that this year’s Forum programme will feature the following keynote speakers:

  • Georg Kell, UN Global Compact (joining by video)
  • Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Expert on Economy, Ecology, Globalization, and Sustainability
  • Harald Krüger, BMW AG
  • Bertrand Piccard, Solar Impulse

The parallel sessions will be your opportunity to hear from:

  • Participants of the Community of Practice on Web 2.0 sharing the outcome of this working group: the EFQM Framework for Enterprise 2.0, developed to provide organisations with a holistic and universal approach towards excellence in managing their Enterprise 2.0 strategy.
  • Ricoh Europe’s Sustainability Optimisation Programme. Developed by Ricoh to help their customers reduce their environmental impact and reduce their costs, the programme was voted as the Winner of the EFQM Sustainability Good Practice Competition 2011 by a combination of a public vote and the jury of experts.
  • Award, Prize Winners or Finalists of the EFQM Excellence Award 2011. Each year, within the Award process, Role Models are identified. This will be your chance to hear from the best performing European organisations, e.g. Liverpool John Moores University, Grundfos, Siemens Healthcare, Kirchberg Hospital, Bilim Ilac, Red Electrica, Robert Bosch, …
  • Taking the opportunity to have the Forum organised in this venue, we also propose two visits specifically dedicated to BMW: the BMW Museum and BMW Welt. The BMW Museum showcases the history of the BMW Company, its brand and its products in an innovative and fascinating presentation format. And you can take a look behind the scenes at BMW Welt or have the fascinating architecture explained to you. There are certainly lots to discover here. Please note that these two visits have limited number of places.
